Apply a small amount of the solution to the stain, and then blot it immediately.

This method is best if the stain has not dried. If the stain is not fresh, you might want to mix one part white vinegar with one part water. Leave the area to soak for about 10 minutes. Use a sponge to scrub the area. Rinse it off with warm water. Allow the area to dry completely.

Remove Wax

It is not easy to remove wax from carpets. Allow the wax to cool down and set before you begin. Use a sharp knife to remove as much wax as possible. Place the wax residue in a brown bag or paper towel, and iron gently on a warm setting. The wax will stick instead to the towel or bag.

Vacuuming is the most important and essential step. Vacuuming does not remove dirt below the surface, so it should only be done once per week. This will prevent dirt and dust from getting into the fibers. High-traffic areas should be cleaned on a daily basis.
